PottyPond is built on one idea: your child's data is yours, and it stays on your phone. This policy describes exactly what the app does — and what it deliberately does not do.
Everything you log — pees, poops, tries, accidents, rewards, child names, and notes — is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device database. We do not operate servers that receive, store, or process your child's information. We cannot see your logs, and no one can reach them through us.
PottyPond has no sign-up, no login, and no passwords. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or your child's information.
PottyPond contains no advertising and does not track you across other apps or websites (it never asks for, or uses, the advertising identifier). We do not sell or share personal data with anyone.
To understand which features help parents and which need fixing, the app sends a small set of anonymous usage events — things like "a log was added" or "onboarding was completed." These events are tied to a random per-install identifier, not to you: they never include names, log contents, notes, or anything typed into the app, and they cannot be linked to your identity by us or anyone else. Under Apple's App Privacy labels this is declared as data that is not linked to you and not used for tracking. Analytics are processed on servers in the EU.
The optional one-time PottyPond Pro unlock is processed by Apple through your App Store account. To validate the purchase and restore it on a new phone, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-infrastructure service, identified only by the same random anonymous identifier. We never receive your name, payment details, or your logged data as part of a purchase.
Delete any entry in the app, or delete the app to remove everything you logged. Because we hold no copies of your child's records, deletion is immediate and complete. Anonymous usage events cannot be traced back to you and are automatically aged out of our analytics.
PottyPond is a tool for parents and caregivers, not a product directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, and your child's information never leaves your device.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
